When can we expect another China Bayles novel? I loved Widow's Tears! The story and the history were both awesome! I love Ruby. I wish a movie could be made from this book. I see Ruby played by Annie Potts in my head. :)

Susan Wittig Albert Thanks for the question, Cheri! The Pecan Springs mysteries are on a regular annual publication schedule: they come out the first Tuesday in April. Which means---drum roll, please!--April 4, 2017! The book is called THE LAST CHANCE OLIVE RANCH. In it, China and Ruby are trying to figure out what's happening at a Texas olive ranch, while McQuaid digs into a mystery closer to home. Meanwhile, back at the writing desk, I'm working on the 2018 mystery. Glad you liked WIDOW'S TEARS. It's one of my very favorites.
