Hi Eloisa, I've just finished The Ugly Duschesss yet again and it just hit me... did James suffer from some form of Dyslexia or ADHD? I ask because although I don't suffer from any of those illnesses I did study them in school and I find it interesting when authors give characters such illnesses when they weren't discovered nor understood until years later. My daughter has a mild form of ADHD -- different from the norm because she was a preemie (which led to it), but with similar symptoms. I thought it would be really interesting to imagine James with those characteristics but with no help or understanding of them. I wrote Ugly Duchess and This Duke is Mine back-to-back -- both of them are interested in different illnesses, if you can call them that. I'm not sure -- different states of mind? Anyway, I hope you enjoyed James's story. all best ~ Eloisa
