Carol Weeks
Carol Weeks asked Eloisa James:

Hey Eloisa, I'm just wondering if you've thought of writing a book with a blind with traumatic brain injury woman in one of your books?

Eloisa James Thank you for asking ~ but I have not. I tend to stay away from issues that I feel are markedly improved due to modern medicine. Writing an alcoholic, for example, in Taming of the Duke, was really challenging because I did a ton of research on what they thought of alcoholism and then had to figure out how my hero could get over it without support. Ditto with the epidemic in When Beauty Tamed the Beast. People often ask if I would tackle spousal abuse, but no. I know the limit of what I'm able to represent within the frame of a historical romance. I'm sorry to disappoint you.
