At what age did you start writting? And how many book did it take for someone to notice you and offer a contract? Or did you offer your own skills to a publisher? Sorry for my many questions in one xD

I was in my early 30s when I started writing. I submitted my work to every available publisher - and back then, there were a lot more of them. lol.
It took me over 5 years and 10 completed manuscripts before I finally sold one! It was a journey.
