How do you develop your characters? Do they just come to you and talk to you on their own and that's how they get started or do you sit down with a concept? When ever I'm developing a new character they just pop up in my head on their own and the details just come with them and I wondered if it worked like that for other people.

Some characters comes to me "whole," sort of like you're describing, but more often I start writing and sort of flesh the characters out as I go. Sometimes it takes me a few chapters to really get to know them well. Then I go back and strengthen the first chapters, where we were just becoming friends. ;-)

Why? How? I do not understand the subplot of book 6. The entire time I was praying that it wouldn't take. The repercussions - and Chey was SO HYPOCRITICAL in the book. I couldn't finish it. I am so...it ruined the entire book and Chey and Dylan's story. Never in a million years would I be okay with the love of my life fathering my sister's child. And taking part in the process? Who does that?

I have Secret Sister and of course waiting for the next book in the series. My question is where do you get your stories from? Do some of the story ideas ever come from people you know or hear about or just your own thoughts and ideas? Enjoy your summer!
