Bear- This summer I will be publishing Starship Down, the first book in the new Starflight series. Once that book is complete, I will return to working on both Paradise, the third book in the Expeditionary Force series, and 'Transcendent', the second book in the Ascendant trilogy. My plan is to publish Paradise before Thanksgiving, and publish Transcendent around Christmas time.
The unknown in my publishing schedule is that my 'real' job takes up time that I would rather use for writing. To make time for writing, I am taking a vacation just to stay at home and write. Unfortunately, me being at home for a week might drive my wife crazy, so I may be writing out in the toolshed.

As a writer and avid reader, I've been thrilled with how fast your books have come out. I've seen your projections for the next few books too. I'm curious how long it takes you to write a book. Do you have many of the books already written, or do you just have crazy-ass fast writing skills?
