That's a tough call for me. If it was a "pleasure trip," I'd go exactly where Kate did--the 1893 World's Fair in Chicago. So many historical figures visited during the six months the Expo was running, and I could get a glimpse of Mark Twain, Susan B. Anthony, Frederick Douglass, and hundreds more. The historian side of me, however, wants five minutes with a couple of lesser known women's rights activists back in 1868 Boston & New York. I'm convinced that they launched a very secret strategy to gradually convince women that they needed the right to vote--but they were good enough at keeping secrets that I can only find hints, and not the "smoking gun." :)

I'm so excited for Time's Divide. I have thoroughly enjoyed the previous books in the series and I can't wait to see what coming next. I am curious... What method do you use to keep the various timelines organized across your novels/novellas? There are so many threads that I can't imagine what it must be like trying to tie all of the loose ends together for Book 3 without creating some sort of accidental incongruity!

Did you put together and test your science backed mechanisms and operations of time before you started writing or did they evolve around them? As a reader, I feel cheated when you can tell an author has just patched a science or magic model together (Harry Potter comes to mind). As a writer, I must have spent as much time on my universe as I have on my novels. I am particularly interested as the Delphi Project evolves

Were you planning on Our Kate (that's what I dubbed the protagonist in my head- what do you call her?) and Trey as endship from the beginning of the series? And if so, in writing the Our Kate/Kiernan scenes, did you ever have moments of doubt?
And... this isn't a question, but Kate makes an AWESOME heroine. Super compelling. :)
