Hi Robert, When you decided to write a crime novel, had you any previous knowledge of policing and forensics? Did you decided to focus on South London because you had lived there? Loved "The Girl in the Ice" and am now reading "The Night Stalker".

Hi Sue, thanks for your question. I didn't have a huge knowledge of policing and forensics, but I did huge amounts of research, and I have also been lucky enough to work with former Chief Superintendent Graham Bartlett, who has advised me on police procedure, and has been kind enough to introduce me to other professionals in the UK Police force. Yes, I made South London the focus as I lived there for almost ten years. So pleased you are enjoying my books, thank you! Rob x

Not a question, really, I have enjoyed "The Girl in the Ice" and "The Night Stalker", and I am currently reading and loving "Dark Water". I hope you are going to keep this series going, I love Erika. Is there a significant other in Erika's future? I've purchased and read both "The Girl in the Ice" and "The Night Stalker" and eagerly await the 3rd installment in the series hoping that she will find love and happiness. She's suffered enough hasn't she? C'mon Mr. Bryndza, she has to put up with so much crap at work and it doesn't seem like she will ever make Superintendent. Let her shed some sadness and have hope
