Is there a significant other in Erika's future? I've purchased and read both "The Girl in the Ice" and "The Night Stalker" and eagerly await the 3rd installment in the series hoping that she will find love and happiness. She's suffered enough hasn't she? C'mon Mr. Bryndza, she has to put up with so much crap at work and it doesn't seem like she will ever make Superintendent. Let her shed some sadness and have hope

Thanks Bill for your question, and I really appreciate you saying how much you've enjoyed the first two Erika Foster books, thank you. I don't want to spoil the surprise, but there are some exciting and dramatic things planned for Erika. I know this doesn't answer your question, but I don't want to to spoil the surprises to come!
