How did you create Ren and Kishan's characters? How were you able to come up with their personalities, characteristics, traits and basically build their characters?

Colleen Houck For me, they develop over time. I learn about my characters as I write them. An example is a character I'm writing right now. I just discovered she likes to sleep in and is very grouchy when she wakes up. For me, it's almost like I imagine them in my head, I get a picture of what they look like and then they tell me who they are. I guess its a bit like dating. I find out new things every time I sit down with them at the computer.
