Hi Gail, In your "influence" section of your profile it says you are influenced by Jane Austen. Do you have a favorite Jane Austen novel and how does it relate to your novels? Thank you

Gail Carriger Jane Austen has given us the 6 most enduring romance tropes so all my books are influenced by her in this regard. It's hard for me to pick a favorite. I'm not a huge fan of Persuasion or Northanger Abby. That leaves P&P, S&S, Emma, and Mansfield Park. If I had to pick an absolute favorite it's P&P because Elisabeth is the most aggressive of Austen's main characters.
