I saw a snippet on You Tube of you reading a chapter of a work in progress with Miles and Ekaterin and Enrique visiting Vorkosigan Vashnoi to check on the "Rad-bugs." Are you still working on that? I'd love to find out what Miles saw in the bushes.

That one died in the middle, alas. I'm not sure if it will ever be resurrected. (This is the great disadvantage of public readings or discussion of my works that haven't been at least finished in first draft. Lesson to me.) Good set-up, but after that... sigh.

I just finished a reread of the entire Vorkosigan Saga, capped with reading the ARC of Gentleman Jole and the Red Queen, and I couldn't help but notice how often Jole actually is mentioned in passing. So, I now have to ask - did you know what Oliver was, in relation to Cordelia and Aral, way back when you introduced him in The Vor Game? If not, when did that situation reveal itself to you?

Now *that* I find astounding. I expect to get that sort of nonsense, I have three books out and folk think that I must be desperate for ideas (really not, thanks) - but you must have a reinforced mantlepiece to hold all the Hugos! Or do you keep them in your office? Sorry to be so obvious with the initial question. My publisher is wanting 'more of the same' and I'm finding it a bit of a trial. Cheers, Elizabeth

On your book tour for Cryoburn (I think), you did a reading from something you were working on at the time. It involved Enrique and the edges of the radioactive zones near Vorkosigan Vashnoi. I haven't encountered this snippet, or anything even remotely like it, in anything you've published since. Did anything ever come of that story? Is it likely to? (Please say yes!)
