Think you have a fan at CBS? Scorpion had an exploding lake, a la Lake Lethal, Pure Genius had a lab working on an artificial womb, and Elementary had an episode about vat meat. I'm confused about the name Mia Maz - is Mia her first name or a title, like miss? Miles calls her milady Maz and she says "just Maz" Is it easier/harder to write from multiple POVs? I find I like the extra takes, tho Memory is a masterpiece

Well, vat meat and artificial wombs are standard SF genre furniture for a long time, and Lake Lethal was based on a real lake in the Cameroons -- the writers may have read the same article in Scientific American that I did.
Still, it would be nice to think that I had fans in the media world.
Mia is Mia Maz's first name. It may be customary in her culture to go by one's last name, except perhaps for intimate friends, but in the instance quoted she's telling him not to use the "milady", as that isn't a title she has. Yet.
Multiple POVs versus single-viewpoint aren't necessarily harder or easier, they just present a different set of challenges. What matters is if the viewpoint/s chosen and the plot play well together. My viewpoint characters tend to wrap their plots around themselves, which risks the plot galloping off in all directions unless variously controlled.

Hi Louis. Typos in Knot of Shadows at page 50 of 111, 44%, when Penric meets Learned Retaka: "Olive Street was marginally less crooked and narrow than its surrounding streets, alleys… passages. The dwellings on this southwest side were much cut-up by time and their residents, many to overcrowded chambers for, if not poor, working men and women and their families." Enjoyed it, as ever. Hope this helps?

Generally since the higher a person’s status the more they are able to get away with, was Ezar’s concern over Serg mostly about erratic and destructive decision making rather than his “personal hobbies” or was he concerned Serg would eventually move on to Vor women, causing a Vor revolt? Is there even a concept of human rights or are any rights seen only in the lord/subject relationship? And would that evolve?
