I can't help but ask, but did the video game Dragon Age have any kind of influence in your writing? That's if you've ever played it. :P I couldn't help but think of it while reading Air Awakens about magic turning people into abominations.

I have played Dragon Age II shortly after it came out in 2011 because I needed something to hold me over until Skyrim was released. I don't even think I finished it... for shame... (Blame Skyrim).
It's been on my list of "go back and play" franchises because what I did play I really enjoyed (all the story lines and changing factors). But I can't recall anything about the game's story (even the magic/abomination thing). So, it wasn't any kind of conscious influence on my work.
