Mary, I thoroughly enjoyed both of your first books, The Good Girl being my favorite. I think because I really liked Collin and the way things played out in the end.(No spoilers) I work at the Ela Area Public Library in Lake Zurich, but I missed your visit. :( I love how you describe our area in your books. I'm so excited to read Don't You Cry. Could you share how you feel this book compares to the first two?

Mary Kubica Hi there! Thanks so much for the kind comments! I feel that Don't You Cry is a bit more like The Good Girl than Pretty Baby, but different in many ways too. The characters are younger, and so though it's still an adult novel, I feel it could appeal to a YA crowd as well. Hope you enjoy it - and I will definitely have to get back to Ela again soon!
