What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Mary Kubica Never give up! Nearly every author I've met or spoken to has endured years of rejection before they managed to find a literary agent or a publisher. Writing is such a subjective industry, and you need to find the person or people who are as passionate about your work as you are. That said, also be open to revision. Allowing a trusted friend or someone in the industry to read a draft of your manuscript and provide feedback is so important to making it shine.
