Since some of the characters in the Midnight books comes from other series, do you think it is important to read them before Midnight? To get a better feel for the character or can it be done at a later time?

Arlene, I don't think that's necessary, though it might be fun. All the characters have grown and changed since their initial appearances.

I started out being a fan of the True Blood series & Sookie Stackhouse novels. I then moved to the Midnight series, which I'm also watching on NBC. I'm hopeful that the television show will be picked up for next season. How much input are they receiving for the TV show? I've noticed a great deal is following the book, which I think is valuable. Aurora Teagarden has meant so much to me and I just love her! I've read the books so many times I've lost count! Was it a lot of fun to be in the Julius house for the Hallmark movie? And did you have any input on how they changed things up for tv? They changed a lot, but it was so fun to see Roe come to life! Mrs. Bure did an incredible job!
