Did you have a lot of "no's" before you had your first published book? If so, what kept you to keep trying?

Mary Kubica Yes! It took two entire years to find an agent for The Good Girl. I received rejections from every single agent I sent the book to, and were it not for one wonderful woman, the book never would have been published. It's so disheartening to receive rejection after rejection, but keep at it. You only need to find one person to love your manuscript; keep looking until you find that one.
