What got you into reading and writing? Do you often write out your story ideas or wait until you have a full outline to start writing anything?

Mary Kubica I don't outline, but prefer to just dive into my stories and see where they take me! I've been writing for as long as I can remember, and credit my parents for an early love of literature. I have wonderful memories of my mother reading aloud to me when I was a girl, and my love of books carried over into my writing.

Earlier this year, I read Pretty Baby and just loved it! I went right out and bought The Good Girl and told all my friends to put you on their TBR lists. I was thrilled to hear that a new book was to be published this year and have entered the draw for Don't You Cry. As a primary school librarian, I wondered if you were an avid reader as a child? Who were your favourite authors then and who do you read now?
