Gisele asked Mary Kubica:

Earlier this year, I read Pretty Baby and just loved it! I went right out and bought The Good Girl and told all my friends to put you on their TBR lists. I was thrilled to hear that a new book was to be published this year and have entered the draw for Don't You Cry. As a primary school librarian, I wondered if you were an avid reader as a child? Who were your favourite authors then and who do you read now?

Mary Kubica I absolutely loved to read when I was a young girl. My favorites of all time were both by Natalie Babbitt - Tuck Everlasting and The Eyes of the Amaryllis. Loved them then and still love them now! My 10 year old and I just started reading them together. My favorite authors as an adult are Tim O'Brien, Ann Hood, Anita Shreve, Maggie O'Farrell, S.J. Watson, Jodi Picoult... I could go on and on! So many wonderful books. Thanks so much for your kind comments about The Good Girl and Pretty Baby. Hope you enjoy Don't You Cry!
