How do you get inspired to write?

David Scott Inspiration comes from us tapping into the truth of who we are. Going into the deeper chambers of my heart and asking myself honestly and without condition, ‘Who am I really? What have I come here to do? And what tools, what gifts have been provided me to allow me to do this?’ In the external the inspiration came through what I experienced in other great artists bringing forward their gifts, and just knowing that I wanted to experience that for myself. From there, it was a matter of having the courage to do it, which is from the root of the word itself, le coeur, French for ‘the heart.' Once in the heart, all is possible.
