What’s the best thing about being a writer?

David Scott In this, I can only speak for myself because I think every author would give you a slightly different answer. My answer would be a sense of freedom that I experience when I write, and the connectedness that occurs with that deeper part of me through the unveiling of the next word, the next sentence; the next chapter. It’s a liberation from a quite pragmatic, somewhat limiting world—which has in it’s own right been a blessing for me in many ways—and an ascension into a world that is also available with each new breath. Again, if one can muster the courage to do so.
