Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

David Scott As with most fiction, I would have to say it is drawn from my own personal experiences in some manner. However, the main character in the story goes well beyond that. My own experiences provided merely a foundation I could build a story upon. When I began the book, I started with what was known, familiar, like setting sail from a familiar coast. What I quickly discovered, however, was that the currents would take me to a place that was greater than any place I could create on my own; greater than my mere mind could imagine. What I had to do was allow myself to follow the currents of greater inspiration, which can only be attained when one lets go and moves beyond the mind and into a more intelligent, more enlightened place. It is a very cool place indeed!
