I just finished reading Tigers Destiny... I loved the ending because Kelsey ended up with Ren and he was my favorite of the two princes. i had a question though: How did you come up with the ideas for the Tigers Curse series?

Colleen Houck I read a lot of Indian mythology as well as myths and stories about tigers. Then I wove in a variety of things that I just love. You'll see mermaids and dragons and fairies. I'm a little bit all over the place. Usually I pick a theme for a book and then incorporate as many bits and pieces of the things that interest me as I can.

So I'm rereading Tiger' s Quest and Nilima mentions her mom in it and Kelsey says that she'd like to meet her and Nilima replies and says "Maybe you will someday." Or something like that. So what I'm wondering is will we see Nilima or her mother in the last book??

Hi, Colleen! I've been a fan of the Tiger's Curse series since I was in 6th grade and my mom brought it home from Barnes and Noble (I'm now a senior in high school). Anyway, I love your books so much and I just wanted to share with you who I thought would be the perfect Kelsey. While reading the series, I pictured Emma Watson as Kelsey. I think she'd be absolutely perfect as her. What do you think?
