I have a predicament that I would like some authors opinions on. I possess a unique first name. A novel writer I chat with on occasion said she wants to use it in a future book. I have mixed feelings about this. I really can't stop her from using my name, I know that. Would it be too much to ask if she give me some sort of recognition? Would it be impolite to ask her not to use it? Any advice is appreciated! TY!

I think you could put it in terms of your mother -- after all, she likely picked out your name. What if you asked the author if she would possibly recognize you and your mother, if she uses the name?

Hello! I finished the 3rd book in the Would be Wallflowers series and enjoyed it so much that I thought I'd re-read My American Duchess. I'd completely forgotten the ending to Merry's story particularly the cliffhanger/teaser at the end of the epilogue regarding Lord Cedric Allardyce's return from Asia - "a tale for another day". Is there likely to be a follow up please?

I've read some wonderful romance novels where the man in the tale is physically disabled in some way, usually from an accident earlier in life, but I've never yet read one with a disabled woman. Being slightly physically disabled myself, I would love to find one like that and I'm wondering if you can tell me why it's always the man with the disability? Would you ever consider writing one the other way around? Thanks!
