Hello! I finished the 3rd book in the Would be Wallflowers series and enjoyed it so much that I thought I'd re-read My American Duchess. I'd completely forgotten the ending to Merry's story particularly the cliffhanger/teaser at the end of the epilogue regarding Lord Cedric Allardyce's return from Asia - "a tale for another day". Is there likely to be a follow up please?
Eloisa James
Hello! I'm so glad you enjoyed the Wallflowers! What happened is that I wrote around 100 pages of Cedric's story before moving to a new novel. I faced two big problems: his alcoholism and his move to a country that had been colonized by England, together with his return with an Indian bride. Historically that was fine, but even if his bride came from an uncolonized region (of which there were several), the dynamics of Cedric marrying her were challenging, even without the alcoholism. The hardest books are "recovery" books, but I set the bar too high for myself. That said, I might go back to it someday!

II have looked everywhere I can think of for the following information. I am almost half way through My Last Duchess. I have spent the last hour or so re reading to find the answer. Page 129 Ophelia says "The you can retire here for your confinement. After a week or so, we'll leave for Lindow Castle." She doesn't mean Hugo's home does she?

Hello, I am very curious to know if Godfrey from “Too Wilde to Wed,” is autistic? Or somewhere on the spectrum? The more I read his character the more I see similarities between him and my autistic son. Also will he have his own book in the future? Thank you and I look forward to your responses!

I am reading Two Lies and a Lord... Love it !!!, Please, tell me that Regina and Frederick will have a story ?...I love redemption stories, and I would love to see them together. They had a spark or 2 reading till now, and somehow my mind goes there -them together ! I see their funny and good parts , between all their flaws ( maybe masquerading some sorrows or guilt ) . Thanks !
