I met Ella Enchanted in 7th grade and wore the book out to the point it fell apart, When I was old enough I bought it for myself, and I read it every few years, just as fresh and just as fun every time I read it. Do you think you will ever write another fairy tale more like that?

Gail Carson Levine I'm not sure I know how to answer this. I have written more novels based on fairy tales, which you may have read, but I don't want to repeat myself by imitating what I've already done. I think I understand, though. I wish Jane Austen had written another novel that satisfied me in exactly the same way PRIDE AND PREJUDICE did.
