I just wanted to thank you for creating the worlds that you did. As I was growing up, I always felt like I had a family with Moe, Maggie, the thief lords gang and I feel live I have flown across the world with Ben. I carried those books with me wherever I moved to and I would open the pages when I needed something familiar. Why inspired you to write such close bonds between your characters? Thank you.

Cornelia Funke Dear Justine, thank you so so much for this message. I couldn't have wished for a more magical one. I believe that the greatest treasure we can find in life are friends, and I guess that shows in all my books. I don't believe in the lonely hero. I believe in love and bonds and the help of others. They don't need to be human always- animals and plants can be comfort and companions too of course. I hope to show in my stories that all life on this planet is one:)

Ok, so I have been obsessed with all of your past novels, and have been wondering a few things: 1. Will there be a third book after Fearless? Or will Reckless and Fearless be the only books in the series? 2. Will you make any more books that are like the Mirror world series? 3. Herzlichen Dank für Ihre Bücher! Sie sind manchmal finster, und die Worte sich schwer ans Herz legen, aber sie sind bezaubernd. Ich habe die Tinten-Trilogie als Hörbücher, sie helfen mir die schöne Deutsche Sprache, die ich leider nur selten benutze, nicht zu vergessen. Wem gehörte die Idee in das Hörbuch die Epigraphe wegzunehmen und Musik zwischen den Kapiteln einzusetzen? Haben Sie den Vorleser selbst ausgewählt?
