Well, after read the first book...I fall in love deeper with Maven instead of feeling brokenhearted after his betrayal. He is so complex, so unreadable, so hard to understand. Well, he's fragile too. I know, deep inside, there's still a little light in his heart.

I hate Cal for some reason, I mean he's too boring. He's like the usually-perfect-man-king-figure who always get the girl and I always see that kind of guy in any romance novel. He so easy to guess. I was expecting some different sensation while reading King's Cage (with my expectations by reading Mareven intimate moments or maybe think this time VA would make Mare choose him) but the epilogue is so...arrrkgh! (It's fulfill my expectations and I scream in victory when I read Cal's betrayal).

People who hate Maven are people who don't really understand him. He's not evil, he's just get a wrong way raised by his Mother. No one is born evil.

I miss the old Maven, or maybe the unreal Maven. Even if he's a monster, blinded by Elara's influence, he's still the fragile Prince, the shadow of the flame who always be a star in my list of my favorite charas. So you know my Team now.
