I like Cal at the beginning of the first book. Then I fell in love with Maven and shipped Mare and Maven hard. Then Maven turned out to be evil, evident of him betraying Mare. Then there's Cal in Glass Sword so I love him then. But then Maven confessed that the reason he was like this was because of his mother's tampering. But then he wouldn't let her go. And then she was back with Cal. But then Cal betrayed her and everything went to crap!
