Team Maven or Team Cal? Personally, I ship Maven and Mare because I'm not buying the Maven-is-all-bad thing.

But with Maven, there's still so much to learn who HE actually is. You get glimpses of the real Maven (the one his mother couldn't completely destroy) throughout King's Cage. Maven is a guy that has been tortured and mentally manipulated his entire life, to the point where he can't tell what is really him and what is really his mothers manipulations. Even when though she'd dead, and not able to manipulate Maven's thoughts anymore, the damage has been done. I just hope that in book 4 Maven will have time away from the court and not have to rely on his personality made by his mother, and be able to actually be himself. Maybe. Well I hope so. But probably not because Aveyard is team "Mare".(less)
