I like Maven, but Team Cal all the way. Cal has loved Mare since the very beginning, and yeah, Maven did love Mare and it was a cute ship for a while, but then Elara had to ruin everything and now Maven is the worst. Maven killed a baby to try to win Mare over, and then when he finally took her prisoner (because she chose to be his prisoner or else Cal would die) HE KEPT HER ON A COLLAR AND LEASH. Then he tortured her with Samson, tortured her with Silent Stone, and waaaay more. HOWEVER, you also have Cal, who yeah, did kind of steal Mare from his own brother, but I mean he loved her. And every time one of them betrayed the other, they always grew back together. With Maven, after his betrayal, Maven and Mare never grew back together. Maven's mother tried to cut out his love for Mare, and it turned into an obsession. Maven and Mare never would have worked out. So, sorry to all of you Maven lovers, but Cal's the one for Mare.
