Cait-Elise
Cait-Elise asked Charlaine Harris:

Hi Charlaine! First, I want to say that you are quite literally my favorite author of all time. Your writing is so beautiful, everything flows so well, and I always learn a new word or two! Do you ever suffer from writer's block? And if so, how do you overcome it? I've been a little less than inspired with my own writing recently, and I'm trying to squelch that. Any advice is welcome. Thank you and take care! :)

Charlaine Harris Cait-Elise, what a huge compliment. Thanks. I seldom encounter writer's block, but I have found that when I do it means I have taken a wrong turn in the book. My brain is telling me to stop, backtrack, and find the point where I went wrong. It's easier to see after a break of a day or two. After you get things straightened out, the story will begin to flow again.
