I don't get completely lost in series often, but I just tore through EE 1-7 and couldn't stop thinking about them when I wasn't reading them. So freaking good. Thank you!!! And thanks for being so prolific. I still have to read 8 and 9, but that won't take me long. So for reading order, I should go back to Encrypted, then forward to Swords & Salt, then Chains of Honor?

I'm glad you've been enjoying the books, Maren! Encrypted is actually the second book I ever wrote (after EE1), so I'd definitely recommend grabbing that one and Engima and Decrypted (there's a boxed -- Forgotten Ages -- that's cheaper than buying them individually). That will explain the alien stuff that pops up in EE a little more and show how Tikaya and Rias met. :)
You could definitely go on to Swords & Salt (it's about to be renamed the Chains of Honor Prequels) and Warrior Mage after that. Thanks for reading!

Hi there! I adore your writing and your characters. Every cast is new and fresh and unique, each book is fun and ends far too soon. While reading Star Kingdom I was reminded of the Vorkosigan-Saga quite a lot - without feeling it was a copy or borrowed too heavily. Might it be a kind of hommage?
