Probably not since very few people actually read those, but I'm glad that you did and enjoyed them!

There are five books in that series, and there's also a boxed set of them all now. Thanks!

Thanks for asking, Lexi. I'm actually not sure. The subscription services all pay a little, but their rates tend to fluctuate, and then Amazon pays based on pages read while Kobo pays based on time spent reading, so it's hard to compare apples to apples. I'm not sure I even can see the metrics on Libby since the books go there via a distributor. I think the short answer is you should do whatever is convenient to you! :D

The core series is complete (Republic is the last). You could skip Diplomats and Fugitives for now, since that one does need a sequel. Thanks for reading.

I am not, but one of my beta readers is and had been hinting that a Jewish hero would be nice. :) She gave me some feedback, so I hope I did a respectable job with Casmir. Thanks for reading!
Lindsay Buroker
That's all I have planned at this time, but it's always possible I'll return to that world one day. Thanks for reading!
Lindsay Buroker
I'm glad you enjoyed them! You might try Chains of Honor and Encrypted/Decrypted, if you haven't already, as they're set in the same world. You may also enjoy my Dragon Blood series. Thanks for reading!

(view spoiler)[I just finished the last (so far) of your Chains of Honor series. I believe I've now done what I once thought impossible, read ALL of your books! You do realize that at least two more books are required to complete COH don't you? We need to know Jhali's detailed backstory, and we need to know how Yanko's life evolves -- at least through his twenties! Will you be revisiting The Great Land again soon? (hide spoiler)]

Thanks for reading, Jamie. It's possible I'll return to that world again, though most people want more in the Emperor's Edge series. :D I'm glad you enjoyed Yanko's adventures!
Lindsay Buroker
Yes, eventually, but those books didn't sell well and weren't that well received by my readers at the time. That's why I put the series aside. Thanks for reading!
Lindsay Buroker
No, they're different universes. Thanks for reading!
Lindsay Buroker
It's out now. :D

Thanks for reading, Lizzie! I once did a giveaway of the complete collection, but it's not for sale at this time. Amazon reduces royalties for authors on any ebooks priced above 9.99, so it's not conducive to publishing full-series bundles with them (since DB is 9 books, I would opt for a higher price on that). Long way of saying, it's only the individual titles beyond the 1-3 set. Thanks.

Yes, the pre-order is now up on Audible! It comes out on Feb 16th. Thanks for listening! :)

I'm glad you enjoy them! I thought about ending the series there, but readers wanted more, so I have another three in the works. Book 7 comes out this weekend!

It's out now, and with a 7th book on the way, I've sent the manuscript for that one off to my narrator too. Thanks for listening!

Republic wraps up the main series (actually, Forged in Blood 1 & 2 did, but I wrote more!). I do plan to write a sequel to Basilard's book (Diplomats and Fugitives) one day, and I'm also kicking around the idea of returning to write another Amaranthe and Sicarius story one day, but I have some other projects I want to do first.
Also, if you haven't checked them out, Chains of Honor (four book series) brings in Dak from Republic and (in the last book) Amaranthe and Sicarius as side characters.
Thanks for reading!

I learned a ton by participating in an online writing workshop for a couple of years. I critiqued the works of other authors, and they critiqued mine. This was a great way for me to learn the ropes and sell some short stories before I moved on to finishing novels and getting them ready to publish.
If you already have a novel, and you've gotten some feedback on it and believe it's close to ready, then hiring an editor is a good next step, especially if you intend to self-publish. The Reedsy.com marketplace has over a thousand freelance editors listed.
If money is tight, you could try finding some other authors in your genre (great if you can find a couple of grammar pros) to do manuscript swaps with. They beta read for you, and you beta read for them.
I've also heard good things about ProWritingAid, software to help you find grammar issues and flubs in your manuscript.
Good luck!

Thanks for listening to my Star Kingdom books, Sherry! I'm glad you're enjoying the characters. Zee has turned out to be quite fun to write! He's not buggy at all. Just has all those features. ;)
Podium Publishing is producing these, and I don't know the release date for Book 7 yet, but they are working on it. I'm also editing Book 8 right now, which will wrap up the series this fall.
Thanks!

Thanks for reading, Noor! And listening! The fifth Death Before Dragons ebook just came out (False Security). My narrator had to work on a couple of other projects in between four and five, but I think the fifth audiobook should be ready in August. :)

This series is complete on Amazon now, and I'll be publishing all five in the other stores later this year too. Thanks!
