Hi! I just wanted to ask you, why you choose to write in poetry? I've red a few of your books but I just have this one question!

Lisa Schroeder Hi Ayla, thanks for reading my books, I appreciate it! As for your question, verse allows me to get to the emotional heart of a story and creates an atmosphere I can't get with regular prose. With each book that begs to be written in verse, there is usually at least one element that lends itself well to poetry. Some stories simply don't work for me in verse, but when it does, I am always happy because I really do love writing that way. Thanks for asking!
