Can you read one of my stories i have written? I am 11, love to write and have been inspired by you. (also Sage is the most amazing character ever)

Jennifer A. Nielsen I'm honored by your request, Lily, and I wish that I could accept. However, I've had to draw a line at not reading from other writers. If I did, I would have so many requests that I wouldn't get any of my own writing done, and that'd be a problem! But I do encourage you to find other readers and ask them for honest critiques on how to make it better. Sometimes those critiques will sting and you'll wish you hadn't asked, but if you listen to what they have to say, you will get better as a writer. Keep writing, never give up! And good luck!

In The Shadow Throne there is a good amount of battle. I think a lot of the attack strategies are very unique and original. How do you come up with new battle strategies when writing? Are they inspired by real attacks and real wars?
