How do you get inspired to write?

Jeremy Dwyer Assuming you have an idea you love, you just have to want to write more than you want to do other things. You have to do those other things first, so that you don't have them interrupt your writing; perhaps they can even inform your writing. Yes, this can delay the writing for a long time: years, or even decades.

Where that idea comes from has to do with life, your expectations, disappointments, personality and talents. I don't have any formula for that.
