I have scouted places of interest, using Google maps to research a town and its surroundings businesses, restaurants to imagining my characters walking along with dialogue in mind. Kim, have you used the Google Maps feature to scout areas to determine if it is possible for use in your novel?

I love Google maps! I use it all the time for researching places I can't get to easily--such as London for work-in-progress. It's a fabulous tool.
