What’s the best thing about being a writer?

B.R. Turnage The best thing about being a writer is that it is my job. No really. I worked many years in corporate America and was downsized out of my job which I held for ten years. It was not the happiest point in my life. And because the industry in which I worked was undergoing rapid change the jobs that normally would be there for me weren't. It was marvelous when I woke up the day after I secured my first ghostwriting client and realized, "I have a job and it's writer." Yeah.
