Eloisa James Aww -- thank you, Nat! I guess they turn real because they live in my head for so long. I wake up in the night to find they're talking to each other—conversations that never get into my manuscripts. I also do a lot of revision. Much to my own disgust, I write about twice as long a manuscript as needed, and then cut ruthlessly to get the pacing right. I'm so glad you like my books!
