My favourite part about reconstructing Amelia was the complicated relationship between Kate and Amelia and the ongoing question of whether parents really ever know their children. Was it difficult to write from multiple perspectives or did you feel it was the obvious choice for this story?

Hi Sam, I'd written several (unpublished) books before RA all from multiple POV--but I actually started out trying to write RA from just Kate's POV but couldn't do it. I couldn't tell the story I wanted to without getting closer to Amelia. Without the multiple POV stories to me always feel incomplete--though interestingly not when I read them. Only when I write them!

I'm an aspiring writer and while I've almost completed my first novel, I'm about to go into foreign territory with trying to find a literary agent and querying. My question to you is how long did it take you before an agent signed you and were you constantly sending out queries? Thank you so much and I absolutely loved Reconstructing Amelia!

Reconstructing Amelia was recommended to me and from the second I picked it up, I couldn't put it down. I absolutely loved it!
