Hi Kimberly! I really enjoyed Reconstructing Amelia, so much so I dissapeared for the day it took me to read it. My question is where did the idea for your story come from and what process do you go through to construct your characters? Thanks for your time, I look forward to reading more of your work!

Hi Amber,
Thanks so much for reading, and especially for the "disappeared all day" comment--no better one to get! The story was inspired first by my daughters but also by current/news events. In terms of characters, etc, I write very visually meaning, I watch the whole thing in my head and then try to convey the right amount of details to bring the reader into my head as much as possible. Sometimes, I'll have to imagine things not in the book to get more details on a character. Thanks again--have a great summer!

Hi Kimberly, I'm currently reading A Good Marriage now and think it is excellent so far - I really liked Reconstructing Amelia! I really appreciate your recommendations on Malibu rising and Local Women Missing. Which is better? You are an excellent writer and it makes life more enjoyable with a good book! Regards, Gary Gary
