Kimberly McCreight Hi Sharon, Thanks so much for reading and for your question. It wasn't as hard in the writing--because in writing it I am Kate, who isn't me--if that makes any sense. But when I'm editing it gets more sad. And then when I READ it out loud. Forget it. Like everyone else, I think about my daughters and--inevitably--start to cry. I've done it at many readings. Thanks again and have a great summer!
