Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Lisa Sachs My idea for Breaking the Fall grew as I talked to people about my experiences as a social worker. I wanted others to have a glimpse of the obstacles that many people I worked with faced. Often the most effective way to do that is by telling their stories. The stories in the book are all fictional but the situations are similar to ones I encountered. When you enter their world, a lot of things will become more understandable.
