Hi, my name is Jordan and I'm so in love with your book Princess of glass (I've read it so much I could probably quote every word) Anyways I'm a writer and I have a story in process and I know the ending and the beginning but having trouble getting the characters to find their way to the end. Can you give me some advice to push the characters along? Thanks for the help!

Jessica Day George Hi! I'm so glad you like Princess of Glass! I loved writing about Poppy!

So what you need to do is write your beginning and ending down, and then make a list of what things they need to do to get from A to B, and just concentrate on those. Sometimes I get bogged down with my writing, getting them through that middle bit, and I have to step back and think, Okay, they HAVE to go to the ball, and Ella HAS to be dressed like Poppy, so that there can be the test later . . . and work from there.
