Hi :D I am curious, why is The Warded Man called The Painted Man instead in UK editions? Apologies if you have answered this one before! Thanks ^_^

Peter V. Brett Painted Man was my original title, and they published the book in the UK and AU/NZ with that title. Then my US publisher decided for reasons unknown to change it. I sent them a list of alternates, including The Warded Man, which is the one they went with. Over time I came to prefer WM.

Hi Peter! Just finished The Core and bravo! What a fitting end to a wonderfully entertaining series. I won't ask spoiler-ish questions but I am wondering if there are plans to convert this into a movie/tv series that are in the works? I am really curious about the how the descriptions of the different corelings actually translate visually.
