Jessica Khoury Hi Ceci! Pia’s not based on anyone I know, nor on myself. (I’m dreadful at math and have a terrible memory--basically, I’m the anti-Pia!) She is a character who came fully-formed to my mind when the idea for the book struck me. So happy you liked Origin! Thanks for reading! :)
