Will there be another book in the mystwick school of musicraft series? I love that series so much and feel it has so much more possibilities.

Jessica Khoury Yes! In fact, I'm doing a few final edits on it now, and then it's off to production.

What will your new series, Monster and Apprentice, be about? Thank you!

Jessica Khoury Hi Skylar! Monster and Apprentice is set in a world where people's darkest secrets turn into living, terrifying monsters called Cryptics. It follows Rolan, a street kid who is taken on as an apprentice by the Arcanist, a feared warrior who slays Cryptics in order to protect the city--and who may or may not wield the same strange, terrible magic as the monsters he hunts. It's like The Witcher meets Demon Slayer meets Ranger's Apprentice. Lots of action, heart, humor, and of course monster hunting! I hope you'll check it out! :)

when will the third skyborn book be printed as a paperback? if you're not allowed to say, that's okay!

Jessica Khoury I unfortunately do not know! My publisher has told me they do not have a date for that yet.

Will there ever be more of the book "skyborn" or is it done forever and no other books will follow? I really enjoyed them but got sad when I finished the beautiful books.

Jessica Khoury Currently, there are no plans for more Skyborn books. However, I have a new series coming out next year called Monster and Apprentice that is a similar kind of story, and if you liked Skyborn I think you may like this one as well!

Jessica Khoury While the book has a title, I cannot share it yet. It does not have a release date yet, but I will share that as soon as I can on my Instagram and newsletter.

Hi I just finished reading your Skyborn series and LOVE IT!!!! Where did you get the inspiration for these books and was it base on something in real life or was it all made up? Thank you!😁

Jessica Khoury Hi Skylar! The inspiration for Skyborn comes from my Scottish and Levantine heritage. On both sides of my family, my ancestors experienced colonization and displacement, which inspired the overall plot of the Skyborn and their quest to return home. The bird clans were inspired my fascination with flying. If I could have one superpower, it would be the power to fly!

do you think you will have the fourth mysteick book finished by this year??

Jessica Khoury The story will definitely be finished! But I cannot say when it will release, as the production process involves many other people than myself, such as the narrator, composer, orchestra, sound producers, and Audible. When I can share a definitive timeline, I will do so on social media and my newsletter.

Jessica Khoury At some point, yes! At the moment I am very busy working on Book 4, but I will release a hardcover later this year.

For the audiobooks the music we hear in the background is there sheet music available to be able to play the music? Because I am a flutist myself and I am in love with the music Amelia composes and would love to play it myself.

Jessica Khoury I get this question a lot! I have asked Audible for the sheet music but I think there may be some copyright issues that prevent them from sharing it.

Jessica Khoury It has a Kindle version at the moment. I have no plans for other e-formats at this time.

Hi Mrs Khoury, I just wanted to say thank you so much for writing the Mystwick School of Musicraft series! I play flute myself and it was amazing getting to listen to a story about a girl who plays flute! Even more so because I am a HUGE Harry Potter fan. What month do you think the 4th book will be released on audible? Do Jai and Amelia like each other? Will we be seeing Eric again?

Jessica Khoury Hi! While I cannot tell you the date yet (I do not know it myself!), I can promise you will see more Eric AND get an answer to your Jai/Amelia question!
