Jessica Khoury Hi Skylar! The inspiration for Skyborn comes from my Scottish and Levantine heritage. On both sides of my family, my ancestors experienced colonization and displacement, which inspired the overall plot of the Skyborn and their quest to return home. The bird clans were inspired my fascination with flying. If I could have one superpower, it would be the power to fly!

Is Kalahari the last book in the Corpus series? Origin is my favorite book ever (When I first read it, I ended up skipping a day of class just to finish it because I couldn't put it down, bad of me I know) and I have completely fallen in love with the world you have created.
